I spent the evening celebrating the resurrection of Jesus the Christ with The Babtist Women. I wish we as a church would stop perpetuating the shame and damnation of homosexuality.
I want to point out that my sweater says “WTFWJD”. I would also say that Jesus would answer, “love your neighbor as I have loved you.” We need more love and less hate.
I am reminded of my favorite Merton quote, “The beginning of love is to let those we love be perfectly themselves, and not to twist them to fit our own image. Otherwise we love only the reflection of ourselves we find in them.“

If that is as big as the gospel message is (just love), then we have a lot of extra bibles.
Are boiling the gospel down to love? We need more love for self, God, and each other!
We need a lot of other things too.
Such as…
Forgiveness, Justification, Grace, Hope, obviously alongside love.
On another note, how are the ord results coming back for folks?
many passed, a few have not. It is sort of joyous.
I “love” the new site. I have a tendency to think that if we could get love down then maybe all that other lists would fall into place. My personal favorite is mercy, yet dignity is good also.
