Across the street from our seminary apartment was a sign that said “Sidewalk Ends.” (Did you ever see it?) Every time Henry and I walked to Posse or to the Crown, we would excitedly say….”This is it! This is where the sidewalk ends!” It never got old. Now I need a sign that says, “Peace begins.”…. Beautiful words. You are one creative dude. I see baptism as a sign of my faith in what Christ did for me. It is a statement of my salvation. Too many people who are baptised as infants do not seem to realize the need for knowing Christ as their personal Lord and Savior. Yes, you are a member of the household of faith, but that doesn’t make you a Christian. I was glad to be rebaptised as a believer.

I don’t really understand why do you need to criticize it that way, are you an atheist or what? Why not just receive the Lord Jesus, believe in your heart that the Lord saved you from the curse of the law through His death on the cross. You’ve never seen that the Lord’s incarnation, human living, death and resurrection, thus it requires your belief. Redemption is not only for the sake of that, that is why the Lord became the life giving spirit for men to receive Him so that He may have His expression.
